Hey… wait a minute… I’m an uncle and my name
is Joe. (Not sure what the hell that has to do with anything)
they mention on the enclosed info sheet that “Uncle Joe
is featured in the independent film, “20 Questions…”
Cool. So it’s rocky and has an amusing air about it. Not
that it’s a comedy like-type song but they do repeat “Uncle
Joe you did it right” ad infinitum. Then the guy talks
about how he sold his color TV and went off into outer space.
OK. So when does Alan Funt jump out to let me know I’m
on “Candid Camera.” But geez, the lead guitar stuff
sounds good. I’ll give ‘em one thumbs up cause I’m
just that kinda guy.

Drink Up With Uncle Joe
This song makes me wanna go down to the pub and grab a cold
one with Uncle Joe. Very catchy chorus...very cool lyrics...reminded
me of the Aquabats...which I like. Good stuff!

Jam Bands Aren't Dead....
This just shows that jam bands aren't dead. Hell they even throw
in a little 80's. It reminds me what the Grateful Dead would
have sounded like if they grew up in the 80's with a bad acid
trip through la-la land. This band has definite potential.

ROCK!!!!
great drums...sounds like an entire choir singing here ..uncle
joe does do it right ...rock out with your cock out fella!!!

80's Rock Hit
i shouldn't like this song.. i really shouldn't, but i can't
help it. it's everything this type of song should be. great
vocals, great production, great job. might be a couple decades
too late, but who cares? rock on uncle joe.

Happy 70
This song sounds okay (uncle joe is okay) Sounds is seventies
and that is nice. The mood is GOOOOD and that is the same for
the interlude. This makes you smile.

Yeah Uncle Joe
It really sounds to me like this song starts right in the
middle, the only intro is just some drums, and then BAM! everything.
And then a solo! But its ok, I love creativity, and this is
a creative arragement. Not to mention creative lyrics. All I
can hear is "Uncle Joe you did it right" but it sounds
good to me. I can understand the lyrics in the verses but I'm
too focused on the great organ player! This is one weird song
that makes me want to skip the next review to figure out who
the heck these guys are. You all apparently are good at your
instruments. Sounds to me like a rock supergroup - all the members
have had separate, succesful careers and got together to fool
around and have fun after years of honing their skills. Great
mood, great energy, everything. If someone tried to describe
this song to me, I would be completely uninsterested, but this
is some interesting music. Extra Credit: Keyboards/Organ/Piano

Zappa-rama
This is interesting. Production is decent, despite the drum
machine. Sort of a Zappa vibe on this one - and surprisingly,
it works. I can't say I'm a fan of this style, but everything
here sounds great and the writing is interesting ... Maybe I'm
converted!
- DLove (New York)
*** DLove... Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure Fernando the
percussionist takes that as a compliment. No drum machine;-)***
