What a cool glass bottle and antique-looking label! I bought this at the little Pakistani market around the corner from my apartment. That is where I regularly buy Vimto. I found this bottle of syrup/concentrate by the Vimto syrup. The label says, "Summer Drink of the East." My wife and I started off Summer 2001 by having a cold glass of this syrup mixed in ice water. There is definitely a rose fragrance, but blended with that is a very heady aroma of herbs and spices. This smells exactly like some of the more floral Indian incense that I have used. Wow! This might be a little too much for most people for just a daily beverage. Although the label on this beverage shows no vitamin or nutrient content, the aromatheraputic properties are unique and very mysterious.
